      possibly help with WILD

I don't have a problem with staying aware with this, just when the shaking and wierdness kicks in, it scares the hell out of me and I just wake up, anyone got any tips on getting past that part? thanks.

you should try to improve control of your emotions. Ask someone to tickle you and try not to laugh; watch a oh-so-sad movie and do not cry; and watch suspense/horror movies without getting shocked. that will get you going

Next is to try to change your mood at will. May sound hard at first, but what you have to develop is awareness over your feelings. When you are conscious of your feelings, you can control them (pretty much like dreams)

Once you can recognize your emotions, stay as calm as you can when WILDing. Have in mind that 99.998% of the things you feel while WILDing (including excitement) are creations of your mind, so do not worry about them. It's just like telling yourself "don't get scared of that horror movie, it's only a movie after all".

May sound hard, but will help you not only with lucid dreaming, but with every aspect of your life

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.

      Hey there,
What you have experienced, is called the SLEEP PARALYSIS.
You can find more information on this topic in the TUTORIAL section.
Don't be afraid of this because its very normal. This happen every night when you're sleeping but you didn't realize it because your mind were asleep too.
So when your mind are awake and aware of whats going on while your body are going into sleep mode, sleep paralysis will occur.

      Just relax and keep breathing.
You will get use to this and you'll like it!
Anyway...just in case if you try it and still afraid...i would advise you to try FILD.

      So good luck!

I got to the stage last night, but the vibrations stopped, I felt really relaxed though but sort of fully aware of my surroundings, I thought I was awake so I moved, it seemed to take a little bit more effort than usual to move out of it and when I did start to move I began to feel kind of groggy like I'd woken up in the middle of the night or somthing. Im just curious, did I fail at that point when the vibrations stopped and did infact awaken, or was I supposed to remain still?

      Dont worry,
Based on what i've read..its usually takes around 2 vibration before you went to a more deeper stage where the random images that are flashing infront of your eyes are getting more vivid.
I dont really know, why should you still be moving at that point because your body are 'paralyse'.
So yeah, dont force yourself to move.

There's a lot of techniques out there.Explore the forum Read more and more.
      No pain no gain,my friend.
I suggest you read the book from STEPHEN LABERGE(the father of LD) called EXPLORING THE WORLD OF LUCID DREAMING.
