i am a 16 year old who has over the last few months started to love the idea of lucid dreaming. i am however struggling to achieve lucidity. i am daily weed smoker and this i think has affected my dream recall. has anyone got any tips for how i can deal with smoking weed and increasing my recall?

Hi there :) Welcome to the forum!
Most people will tell you to quit smoking if you want to increase your recall. Or at least don't smoke late at night. Do a search and there are literally TONS of thread about marajuana and recall and LDing.

Like everyone else said, weed is terrible for recall. Maybe lay off it for a while until your recall picks up? Or... is that asking the impossible?

if i did lay off and my recall increased would i loose it again as soon as i started smoking again?
Hard to say. I think the problem is mostly the state you're in when you actually fall asleep. If you sober up enough by then, it shouldn't make a difference.Quote:
