Hello!

I've been stalking reading the forum for quite a while, and finally convinced myself to actually join about a month ago. But... it seems I completely fail at the whole, y'know not-lurking thing. Which wasn't the point of making my account after over a year of just sitting in the shadows, so I figured making a proper introduction post might finally convince me to stop being so shy!

My discovery of lucid dreaming pretty much consisted of me stumbling across various different webpages, starting with one on flying dreams. I basically went 'Ooo, that sounds awesome!'. Then I did some more research which lead to webpages on lucid dreams and me going 'Ooo, that sounds even more awesome!' A few google searches later on tutorials lead me here, and... well, that's basically why you're reading my ramblings now!

I'm not a natural at the whole lucidity thing at all. In fact... I've only had two thus far (over a span of three days. Guess I was having a good week?) and the people who post things akin to 'wtf am I doing wrong, I've only had, like, three lucid dreams since I've started reading the site last week!!' make me jealous, haha.

Actually, both aforementioned LDs left me laughing at myself because I spent most of them attempting to jump off (And into o.O; ) things to try and fly but failing miserably. Also, because I was completely apathetic to the fact I knew I was dreaming (I always assumed I'd freak out from excitement, but I guess not?) but the fact that my RC worked? Had me running around gleefully. Apparently breathing through a closed nose is more thrilling than being in a dream to my half-concious self!

Well, that's about all I really can think to say-- I fail at these things. xD; But, hopefully it'll keep me out of lurking now, at least for a little bit.
