Screensaver Dream
Well, it's not really a screensaver you see, but that's the best way I could think to post it...
See, I don't dream a lot, (even when I do, I don't remember it) but I keep having this dream repeatedly, almost every night.
But it's not really a dream. I don't know what to call it. It's like, this perfect living image that's bore itself into my head.
In it, I`m laying on my bed. It is my bed, I know it is, except instead of the room being really dark and cold, it's lit up by a fireplace, and instead of me sleeping by myself, theres these two guys, who are very special to me in real life, almost like brothers to me, sleeping on either side of me.
That's all there is to it, and it just sort of plays out, like a moving screensaver, us sleeping all night. It seems to be real time, and it lasts all night. Occasionally one of us will shift or roll over, but it feels so real, it's just weird.
Is it just my wanting to be in a better place, surrounded by people who care about me? Is it considered a lucid dream or not? And am I actually controlling it?
Can someone please help, I`m a little confused :s

You painted a nice picture.
But I think I can see what you’re asking. And as long as those people sleeping in you’re bed are boy’s you love as brothers, I doubt you have anything to worry about. If the dream is bothering you or if its irritating then there might be a problem. But you just said it was weird so that’s why I don’t see a problem.
Overall I am asking you is this dream bothering you?
Do you want to change it?
What do you want to do with this dream you consistently have?

Heya,
Like Nekko already asked. Is this dream or image bothering you? Do you want to change it?
A thing about dreams in general. I believe some subconscious meaning can often be found in dreams. During waking life, we are constantly thinking on problems, issues, and what not. Likely during dreams this continous. However, during our dreams our consciousness is basically inactive (or less active, I actually believe we have some degree of consciousness in every dream). And our consciousness is the part of us that thinks in language.
Subconsciously, we have no language. We have tactile experiences. Touch, Sound, Taste, but most of all, Visual. Images in other words. Now image a simple concept like "Tomorrow I have to face my boss and tell him I'm quitting, and I'm rather anxious about it", in images. Well... I think you can see how this would make a memorable dream :)
Why am I telling you all this? Because most likely there is some important issue in your life, conscious or unconscious, that's very relevant right now. That's why it returns in your dreams, though in a different form: in an image, with feelings. That's not necessarily a bad thing though, especially if it makes you feel good or safe. If it doesn't, if it bothers you or you want it gone, that's a different issue. Then you'll need to try and track down what its all about. Or alternatively, wait. Often when the circumstances in your life change, your dreams will change as well.
Hope this helps a bit,
