Hay guyse
Hi men. And women. Whatever.
I found out about lucid dreaming yesterday, when I read it in a thread on some other forum. I imagine LDs to be wonderful and to be chilling the fuck out of me, so I decided to start doing reality check everytime I hear my name. In the evening, I didn't drink anything to try TILD.
Okay so I went to bed and the room was totally quiet. Really, not even a single bit of a noise. This helped me concentrating on...nothing. On the nothing, actually. So I lay there and concentrate on the blackness and then, within a few seconds, something happened. Suddenly, everything started to feel so...heavy. My body, the air above me, even my thoughts. This feeling got stronger and stronger, but there wasn't any paralysis. It went on for like, 30 seconds and then slowly went away again.
Does that say anything? Has that anything to do with Lucid Dreaming? I hope so, hehe.

I think the exact same thing happened with me. I think you drove the thoughts maby? I think what I did is I wanted it to happen so bad I drove myself to feel like that. I don't think it has anything to do with LDING because you would almost need to enter SP (For most people).

Seriously, I would never try TILD. Thats more self-torture than a way to success. I can't stand going more than like 30 minutes without a drink. Seems like there was some progress towards a WILD. You should try that WBTB (wake back to bed) (basically you wake up in the middle of the night and then just lay still like that). Also try doing reality checks whenever you see something odd or something that you see alot in your dreams.
Anyway good luck and welcome to DreamViews:welcome:!

Cool. It's good to know that I was already on my way to some progress.
Oh yeah, I do a reality check every time I hear or read my name.
Also, hi and thanks for the welcome. This forums look like some awesome stuff that google digged me out.
