Hello again.
Relax... your thread isn't being ignored because it hasn't been replied to in 12 minutes. This is a big community, but you are here at a relatively slow time - early morning in the West.
A Lucid Dream is a dream in which you gain and maintain consciousness during the dream. That is the whole purpose of this site, from the front page through the vast majority of this forum.
You might start with the front page: http://dreamviews.com
Read through the basic info up there, then try digging into some of the tutorials or (my favorite thing to do) head into the Dream Journal section and read some first-hand experiences with lucid dreaming.
You won't find a better world anywhere to answer that question and learn how to do it yourself.
Hey Chloe :)
Don't worry about feeling stupid, the newbie zone is so that new members can ask questions, so feel free to ask as many as you like, don't be worried to because i can guarantee you will have your question answered. pj explained what a lucid dream is so i guess i don't have much more to say, but feel free to ask anything you like!
Hey there. As pj said, you should really read the main site, it's really very interesting. Once you've done that be sure to read the tutorials http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25 so that you can put lal your new found knowledge on lucid dreaming to good use.
Welcome to a new world, heheheh!
Hey and welcome DV~~
So you want to know what lucid dreaming is?
Here is my short definition.
Lucid dreaming –
Lucid dreaming is when you have a dream and you know you’re dreaming.
For instance:
So you’re in the bed sleeping. You are also dreaming about a walking computer. The moment you see the computer start to talk you realize that what you see is fake. And usually once you realize it’s unreal the idea strikes your brain that you are dreaming. That experience is what we call lucid dreaming.
:welcome: to the forum!
As pj stated, Dreamviews is one huge resource on lucid dreams. Check out the main page, http://www.dreamviews.com/. That will answer your basic questions. If you have any more questions, look around the various sections of the forum, or feel free to ask us!
