I'm not sure...
There was a thread awhile ago with a person saying that if they sleep with their arms over their head, they have lucid dreams.
I tried a couple times but it never worked. Plus it was uncomfortable. But, then again, I move around a lot in the night and when I woke up my arms would always return to my side.
I am not familiar with any physical positions like Jessica says,
however I've heard that sleeping on the edge of your bed is quite helpful when trying to acheive Astral Projection...
Was that any help?
~thanx for the replies..totally forgot about that thread ...i'll try some stuff out;p
I have recorded my Lucid dreams and found that I usually wake up on my back. aslo for dream recall they say it is best to try not to open your eyes when you wake up and because of the chemical make up and the shifhting of the chemicals in the brain, you can have better dream recall if you slowly move to each position in your bed as you try to recall your dreams.

I usually LD when laying on my back however it is hardest to go to sleep. Maybe that is why it works best for me. It keeps me more alert as I go to sleep somehow.
I generally lay on my back when trying to WILD, but for other methods I sleep sideways...
