Question on dreams
Do you really have dreams every night? i haven't had one in a long time. Oh ya and last night i KINDA had a dream, but not sure if it really was cause it was blurry and like half a second long. seemed more like a thought because i wasn't conscious. I woke up right after that. i think i need more sleep (had to go to school....) Is there any way to make sure you have a dream too (realizing your having a dream i guess?)? i'm guessing its just having enough sleep. Thanks a bunch

Yes, with the exception of people with very rare types of brain damage, everybody dreams several times each night, it's just that dreams are very easy to forget, especially if you're not used to focusing on remembering. If you want to remember your dreams, you should keep a dream journal, and write down any that you do remember. Writing down your dreams keeps you from forgetting them, will help you remember more of what you were dreaming, and increases your ability to remember them over time.
If you don't remember any parts of your dreams over a long period of time, there are several things that can help. You should remind yourself when you go to sleep that you want to remember your dreams, so that when you wake up, it's the first thing on your mind. When you wake up, you should stay still for a minute, and focus entirely on what the last thing to happen to you was, you're likely to remember what you were dreaming. If that's not enough, you could try setting an alarm to go off in the middle of the night, to try and wake yourself in the middle of a dream, and increase your chances of remembering your dreams. And yes, sleeping longer will help you remember your dreams. The longer you sleep, the more dreams you'll have, and the longer you've been sleeping, the longer each dream will be, so the more dreams you'll have to remember.

Yes, everybody dreams. Most people just remember very few of them. Try This Tutorial to help you get started remembering your dreams better. Dream recall is essential to LDing because what's the point of having an LD if you don't remember it!
