      Electronic Dream Masks

      Hi all. I just finished reading Stephen LaBerge's book: Exploring the World of Lucid Draming. So of course I'm trying to have my first Lucid Dream. And it ain't easy! No surprise there though.

      I read somewhere that he's coming out with some sort of mask, and apparently there are other masks already out on the market, that will help let you know with lights and/or sounds when you enter into REM.

      Has anyone here tried using a mask to help them know when they're dreaming?

      In other words, will it it work? Will it short cut the process of becoming Lucid. You know, is it worth it?

      Hello, and welcome to Dream Views!

      I don't have any mask experience myself, but there are quite a few around who do. You might try searching on some different terms, including (if memory serves) NovaDreamer, dream mask and anything else you can think of. You should come up with a few threads that go into depth discussing the masks.

      In the meantime, we have plenty of tried and true techniques that don't cost nearly as much!

      So what's the latest on the DreamMaker Dream Mask controversy. Has the mask been "perfected"? Apparently, it's the only one currently out there.

      I'm not interested in reading or hearing about the personal attacks and vendettas that surround the inventor/maker -- I just want to know about the mask, and count the votes for it, yeah or nay.
