I always when I try to WILD or "succed" in WILD,(when I dont do it WBTB) I get the sinking sensation and I become very heavy and numb. Then I cant move and I know that Im in complete SP, but then SP slowly disappears I dont know why!. It has something to do that I havent slept and im not in REM?
It feels like the dream wont start.. can you WILD in naps?

Maybe you are having trouble to transition into the dream
My suggestion is that, when you feel the "sinking" hallucination, believe you are sinking, and let yourself be taken to another world. Use the sensorial perception and let it take you somewhere else... Allow hallucinations to make you forget of your real body. This will start your dream and allow you to disclose your dream body from your real one.
The key point is to forget about your real body, or else you won't be able to move your dream body.
You can always try to read Dreamviews' Tutorials on transitioning.
Finally, it could be that you're not in full SP yet, but it's hard to know for sure.

I'd recommend WBTB. It's done so that your body is at it's REM periods (where you dream), when you try to WILD. That way, you have a short time to wait before you start dreaming. If you don't WBTB, then you have to wait through the other stages of sleep first, which are long and boring.
Well Webmaster, your suggestions do indeed apply, but I believe it's possible to induce REM sleep when WILDing.. and some sleep schedules make your REM sleep come faster. Yes, generally WBTB method helps a lot, but doing it from the beggining fo the night is fairly possible.

WILDing itself does not induce REM. What happens is that you can induce it when WILDing. Any more developed visual activity and you'll enter REM sleep. It takes a nice bunch of practice, though.
