Question plz
I was just wondering what stage I was in for a WILD last night. I went to sleep, layed completely still, not moving once. Eventually I got the numbness in my feet and hands, as well as the "falling/shifting" sensation. I was trying my hardest to stay focused on flying etc, but then I heard some outside sounds and the SP wore off. Was I close to entering a WILD? I read some user's guide where when you have the shifting sensation your supposed to have your dream body roll out of bed.... but im not sure how this works. Also I tried doing a RC but it didn't spawn a WILD. Am I doing something wrong?

My exprience was diferent, i didnīt planned a wild. One night i woke up and started hear a sound like a person was in my room. I realised that maybe i was in sleep paralize i started to try think in positive things. Then, i started hear people singing like a chorus and i tried to move but i couldnīt do nothing. Was scary...but "wake up at full" some time after.
With you, i donīt know, maybe you were entering in sleep paralizes, you could move your body? Iīm not the most indicated person to explain this but what i learnt was that the important itīs not be scary or in a "alert state" with the sounds(like i did...).

Sounds like you were in SP. From there, you have to visualise the dream imagery forming, if you start getting HI and stuff, then you`re on the right track...

you got farther than most people do, i lay in bed for what seems like a lifetime and dont get any where

:welcome: to Dreamviews!
As Spartiate mentioned, you're in SP. You have to visualize a dream (in which you're lucid). Not a really complicated dream with a plot or anything, but a setting. Basically, you have a blank canvas at this point and you have to "build" the dream around you.
