Hello...i'm new..
Hey, I'm new to the forums, obviously LOL. My name is Andrea, I'm a high school senior in canada. What has recently and suddenly sparked my interest in lucid dreams, was a nightmereish dream I had only last week. In the past I've had a handful of very vivd dreams where I recognize I'm dreaming, but I don't have control over them. I had one of those last week, and I was talking to a friend about how odd it was, and then we went onto the topic of lucid dreaming and how we wondered how it worked. Well I went home and have been researching it a bit. I'm still learning just the introductory things. I want to have lucid dreams. My steps so far to achieving that are, telling myself everynight before I sleep that I want to remember my dreams, and I want to recognize I'm dreaming. It has worked really, well remembering my dreams has worked, because usually I don't remember them except for the occasional vivid one. But I've remebered every dream I've had every night so far, and I have begun dream recall. Also, two days ago I dreamt that I got in a fight with my aunt but then I realized I was dreaming so it wasn't a big deal and then i ran away joyfully.
Anyways.. this is an odd introduction haha. What I'm basically trying to say is that it's cool to be here! i'm going to look around and post and learn some stuff to help me experiment with lucid dreaming! I feel like right now it's like, I'm in a line for a thrill ride, and I feel excited and wanting to do it.. but unsure of how it will turn out and i'm kind of scared of that, but I'm in the line and i'm taking the steps to do it anyways... so even though i'm not sure how it works (i'm a control freak, i like to be in the know, and i have a fear of the unknown), i still want to try it out anyways. So um, wish me luck haha, and thanks for reading, and i look forward to getting to know you people.
