Hello There
Hello. I am not new to lucid dreams I found out about them in 2005 and have been trying on and off since then with slight success (9 lucid dreams, 8 DILDS, 1 WILD.) I have recently been trying more throughly to increase my LD frequency with some improvement.(Two in the last month.)
I have two questions, First does the position you sleep in affect Lucid dreams in any way? And I take about an hour to get to sleep each night is there any method that is better then others for my sleep pattern?

welcome to dreamviews
for question one, yes sleep positions affect your lucid dreams, I believe laying on your back is the best.
as for how long it takes you to sleep, I suggest that you try something to help, it should only take you around 7 minutes to go to sleep. I sleep with a fan, that helps me, maybe you should look into things that help you get to sleep. I know that that was not your question, but I dont think there are anything for your sleep pattern, everyones is slightly different.

I used to take 2 hours to get to sleep most nights, I found that reading before bed or meditating beforehand helps me greatly.
