      Question about dream journals..

MUST you wake up at rem intervals? I really really really do not want to do this. & also i have a question, I have pretty good dream recall for somebody just starting out, I remember one dream per night, at this rate how long will I have to wait for my LD? How long did you wait? & did you guys wake up at rem intervals to record your dream in your dream journal?

      Welcome to DV!

.. you dont really HAVE to wake up at REM intervals. Though, for some techniques its strongly advised. Most people remember one dream a night, the truth is we have three or four dreams a night, but you are doing okay. Theres no specific time set on how long you have to wait for a LD, its how much you practice or want it to happen. Some people takes years, others months, weeks, some a mere few days. For me I started LDing when I was very young, lost it when I went into junior high, and after I found DV, I started LDing again, so a few weeks tops. I remember most all my dreams when I wake up, and thats not getting up every 3-6 hours. Thats sleeping afull 11 hours a night, and remembering all my dreams. So, find the techinque that works best for you, and good luck!
