This happens very often i need some more advice

I often find myself (right before falling asleep) that my ears will start to ring veryyyy loudly and can not move and my vision is all distorted (sometimes i think its due to the ringing thats soo loud) but sometimes when this happens i will be in a dream during it almost as if i got to comfortable with the sound and then it put me into a dream...but when this happens the dream seems sooo real thats its unbelievable.

EXAMPLE:


this was happinining to me (the ear ringing thing)and then i all of a sudden woke up in a room with my 2 best friends and these three guys and i was like what the fuck just happened to me, and where am i and then everyone was like woah what the hell is going on with you and stuff and then im like im in a dream arnt i and everyone was like um def not...but i was convincedd i was in a dream, but then one of my friends was like you just smoked alottt of weed tonight thats why your prolly going crazy..but then i woke up and everything was still fuzzy but i could see my blue numbers on my alarm clock so i knew i was awake

BUT THENNN...i fall back to sleep to my ears ringing loudly, and im now walking to mcdonalds so i get there(and i guess i get food or whatever)then i start walking back to home and i walk through an alley...and i wake up also to blurryness again...but there were a coupld people in my room and i could not move..(i started freaking out cuz i thought i was awake...)and i asked them what was going on and they told me to shut up and go back to sleep so i thought i like got drugged or something.

sooo i fell back asleep even though i must have been sleeping the whole time...

ANDDDD....againnn i go into a dream when my ears were still ringing..this time i was in school (like i had waken up and went to school on a regular day)besides the fact that i didnt remember how i had gotten there or what was going on soo again i thought "am i dreaming" and my friends i was at lunch with were like def not idk what your talking about...so i was freaking out once again thinking im def in a dream but no one sadi i was...then i woke up
my ears were still ringinggg soo loudd

BUT WHAT I WAS TRYING TO GET TO THAT WHOLE TIME IS, I WANTED TO KNOW IF THAT IS WHAT A LUCID DREAM IS, BECAUSE I KNEW I WAS DREAMING, BUT MAYBE I DIDNT FOLLOW SOME OF THE STEPS TO BE ABLe TO CONTROL IT...BUT I DEF KNEW I WAS DREAMING WHEN I WAS IN THE DREAM.

Yup, you had three lucid dreams -- it's just a dream where you realize you're dreaming. Cool, right? Confusing at first though. You're right about it being unbelievable. Dreams are way realistic.

Your ears ringing is just a lack of sound and your ears compensating for it. I guess it helps you dream, and that's good. If you hear it, you can focus on it, and probably put yourslef into a sleep trance.

Dream control's pretty tough. You may want to start out by checking out some tutorials and then start doing reality checks.
