this annoys me i woke up well at least i thought i did. went to the bathroom was about to take a piss then i found myself in my bed. i then went to the loo again, and when i was pissing i woke up half way through it and had half wet myself :( now everytime i wake up i check i am actualy awake lol.
You are having false awakenings. They can be annoying, but common among lucid dreamers. If I have a false awakening and then wake up for real, I tell myself that I am not going to get out of bed, that way if I fall asleep again and dream of waking and getting up, I know I am dreaming and can have fun.
I once had a dream that I woke up and told my husband about the dream I just had. I woke up from the false awakening and told him about the dream where I told him about a dream. Does that make any sence? Dream 1 happens. Dream 2 is that I woke up and told hubbie about Dream 1. Then I wake up for real and tell him about Dream 1 and 2, as much as I remembered of them both.
Yup, makes perfect sense, gyerenfeli. Many people have these, theyre called false awakenings. They can get quiet annoying, especially if you wake up and do all your morning routine, then wake up again to see that you have to do it all over again. The best thing to get lucid though, is right when you wake up in real life, do a reality check. So if it ever happens that you have a FA, you'll realize youre dreaming!
This happened to me like 2 days ago, actually. I woke up in my dream, then dreamed I went back to sleep. Then I woke up for real, and thought it was the next day :D
