Hi, new to the forums :)

Well hello, just signed up, glad to be here... im a 17 (18 on the 30th) from canada.

been trying to get lucid dreams here and there, for about a year now, but have been too lazy to try the reality checks. probably why it isnt working, but now that its summer, I think that i am going to try them. i have tried using Bwgen, with numerous lucid dream presets, but none worked, except for this 1 time, where i kinda flashed into this hallway thing, it was red carpets there was a window, and there was lightning, then i came out, i dont know what it was.. perhapse a little ld?

i usually have much trouble actually getting to sleep... im probably going to go to that addoption thing... but yea... im going to go get food now... good to be here. Thanks

You say you've tried BWGEN? Have you tried any of the meditation presets to help implant suggestions to become lucid?

I have trouble falling asleep too.. during the summer, anyway. Even if I can't keep my eyes open any longer and decide to go to bed, it still takes me at least an hour! Arr!

i have tried a few of the other presets, do you have any recommendations? how would i implant suggestions? and i was wondering, if i need to have thoes special goggles? im thinking about asking for some for my bday :shock: i was thinking of recording a wav of me saying "you are dreaming, you will realize you are dreaming" somthing like that, and then making that come on when im actually asleep so it would play over and over, but probably easier said than done ;)

yea, i know what you mean Scwigglie, i have a very rough time getting comfortable enough to fall asleep-- especially when im using bwgen.

which reminds me-- when i do try bwgen lucid dream presets, i think eventually i DO fall asleep, but when i wake up, my headphones are half way accross the room....... hmmm :S

Give the built in ones for Meditation and the ones for self hypnosis a try. When you are deep into them, repeat to yourself:

When I am dreaming, I will know that I am dreaming.

I believe you always just think these things. Maybe say it outloud the first time, just to get started.

hahaha, yeaa... i tried to use the hypnosis thing, to the when i m dreaming, stuff, and yea, we shall see, maybe it will work tonight-- i started a dream log today, got 1 dream so far, and i remember a part, where i went into another room, and blew on a spider (somthing i have a habit of doing when i go out side, so does that mean that could be a "dream sign" or am i just crazy :)? :o ummmm yea :)............. :).............. :shock: ahhhhh, yea... sorry...

I started a dream journal, but it was just wasn't me. Why write down my dreams when I can remember all my dreams from way back since I was five? :|

Hey have you ever picked one up? That's the only reason I'm afraid of them. Cuz what if I touch one and it dies? Or it crawls somewhere and I accidentally step on it? :shock:

Jin, can you really? That's cool.. I used to just write down the best ones or the funniest ones or whatever. It'll be a cool read when I'm 90 and only have cats for company. ;)

i can usually remember some dreams, but i want to remember alot more, so im going to try this recall business... may as well, its summer.. and i have been having frequent dream activity lately. so yes..............

haha, yes i do blow on spiders, i juss moved, and this house is full of spiderwebs, the only thing i fear is that they will bite me while im sleeping, their huge wolf spiders, but yea, theres one i see when i go outside usually, and i just blow on it to see if its still alive... i dont know how these things eat....

i dont think ill ever pick up a spider... unless its one of thoes little ones, even then still probably not haha. i just like to annoy them :lol:

i remember dreams from my child hood, i wish i could go back into some of the dreams, one i had was of these 2 connected towers, and i was walking accross to the other tower, like miles of a hall way to the other side... the whole feel of the dream was kinda mystical, and neat... hahaha, but yes, i have done enough talking, but still need someone to addopt me 8)

Anyway, I bet if you get good at LDing, you'll be able to recreate some of those childhood dreams. 8) I know I'd want to. I wish I kept a dream journal back then so I could remember more of 'em.

haha, the addopt thing, is for like, experienced lucid dreamers to teach noobs how to get ld's easier?

wish i could have logged them too, i remember some of them faintly... i think the one of the towers might have been lucid, cuz i remember it like a memory.... its strange, who knows, the goats tell me stories...

Wow, a fellow insomniac...I have the same problem. This forum may actually be able to help that, by adding some sleep routines like WILDs and such. About the reality checks, do keep trying them to see if they help ya. However, they didn't help me nearly as much as starting a dream journal. It actually bumped my LDs from a few a year to 1-2 a week! So you might want to consider that.

Anyway, just make yourself at home here, and feel free to PM me with any questions about LDs or the forum in general.
