      Dream Recall

Now I have been trolling the site for a week or so, and just registered yesterday. But I have been reading up on everything here and I must admit I am having good results with Dream Recall.

Now I have been remembering one dread when I wake up, sometimes I have a hazy impression of another, but that one I can remember is very vivid and the memory of the dream stays with me. I am starting a journal this weekend (I want to get a nice book for it) and am sure that that will help me recall more. All I have been doing is clearing my mind (the best I can sometimes; life happens sometimes and it can be difficult) and my last thoughts every night have been "I AM going to remember my dreams" I just repeat that in my head and when I wake up I have been.

One thing I am trying to get into the habbit of is reality checks through out the day. I have a lot of work to do, but am starting to just do things subconsiously. Like poking my hand randomly or plugging my nose to see if I can still breath, staring at a clock for a minute, basic stuff.

Anyone care to share some of the things they do for RC through out the day? I would like to get into the habbit of doing different things while I am establishing my habbit of doing it. My thinking behind that is that I have more checks imbedded into me that I will do more often so hopefully I can start going lucid more without something really obvious jumping out at me that screams YOU ARE DREAMING! 'cause right now that's the way it happens for me.

My reality check is simply asking myself if I'm dreaming. lol. As soon as I ask myself I automatically know that it's a dream. The only hard part is actually remembering to ask myself if I'm dreaming, lmao. I play a CD every night that keeps looping "Do a reality check" every three minutes. It works well for me.
