i am new
im new to these message boards, and never considered myself a lucid dreamer, but after reading the posts about techniques and what is done to be considered one, i realized that i had practiced these techniques on my own previously.
now finding this board im eager to begin exploring my dreams further again
ive been able to create objects, control my actions (speech and feelings towards others, but not the actions that were ultimate consiquences of my feelings), ive been able to fly, wake up when I choose to, and I think thats about it.
Ive never been able to consciously think about something before I sleep and dream about it, but if something has happened to me, or I thought about it earlier in the day, and somehow kept that thought on the "back burner" of my mind lets say, I would dream about it, though un-intensionally.
not sure what else to say since its my first post but i'd love to have as many responses as possible :)

Hey welcome!!!!!!
sounds like you have a pretty good start. As far as other techniques it takes some pratice for most of them.
HI or hynogogic imigary is one way you can begin to mold your dream from the beginning.

Welcome to the forums. :)
It sounds like you have already had some lucid experiences!
Yes, dreams are a subconcious evaluation of our day. Our thoughts and processes come into them.

Welcome to DV greySoaringEagle!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, you're actually quite the little LDer already! So you say if something's in the back of your mind, you're more like likely to dream about it than if you try to consciously think about just before sleep? I've had that trouble a bit myself with that. If I take the pressure of a thought, it's more likely to turn into an LD. But who knows! You may find that you'll be more successful if you attempt WILDS.
Anyway, if you have any questions at all about LD's or WILDs or the forum in general, please feel free to PM me. Glad to have you here!

Welcome! It's been my experience that in dreams we're a lot more emotional than in real life. You seem to be pretty good at this stuff. I strongly suggest you search the dream control and possibly the general discussion and find out more things to do in your dreams. I personally have a to-do list which is fairly long and if you want any quick suggestions, then feel free to PM me.
BTW, if you have any questions, then we strongly encouraged people to ask us(the dream guides)

My main goal of becoming good at lucid dreaming is eventually problem solving, I think the mind can work a lot faster in dreams, and has less of a feeling of "limitedness" than in reality because of what todays society's tell us what is possible and what's not. Got to break the bonds.

Welcome!
That's great that you're already got a decent amount of experience behind you to work with ! :D
Just wanted to mention that a lot of people find they have had lucid experiences before they learnt more about the subject.
However it seems like you've had a whole lot more than most of them - and that sounds like a very positive thing on your part ;)

Welcome to the board greySoaringEagle!!!!
I hope that we can help you further learn about the art that is lucid dreaming.
P.S. Jin, we appreciate the eagerness, but we only welcome people once, not 5 times. You can post more than once in a topic as long as you really have something to say. Thanks
