Hey I was in the same boat when I was little, and ever since then I have been able to LD. I can't always control my scary dreams but I can tell I am dreaming... So, I hope you are able to get everything under control if you need any help you are more then welcome to ask me!

Welcome Rose, what part of Illinois you from? (North-west suburbs of chicago myself).
Wow, I just realised that the levels of testosterone vs. estrogen are finally leveling out in the forums. (If anybody quotes me on that I'll smooth out your face with a sandblaster!)
Thank you. I just moved to Medinah Illinois in the summer of 2003.
Hi Rose.
Is there anything consistantly occurring in your bad dreams and are you lucid in them?
A welcome from me too, roseberry ! :)
Most of us aren't focussed on the interpretation of dreams, mainly because the best person to interprete the dream is in fact yourself.
That being said though, one of us (I think Truthbearer) is putting together a guide on how to interprete your dreams. It may help you quite a bit.
Not sure if it's finished yet...
Perhaps if you tell us some more about the dreams we might have some ideas for you though ?
One great way to overcome scary dreams is to learn to control them.
One of my personal 'dreamsigns' is that when something attacks me in a nightmare, I realise I'm dreaming and usually beat up whatever it was :D
Its great fun, great stress relief, and takes the fear away!
Welcome, hope you enjoy it here rose.
If you're looking for interpretation then talk to O'nus here. He loves to do those kind of things and he's pretty good at it.
Welcome to DV Roseberry!!!!!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE the chic in your sig!!!!!!!!!! She's too cute! Anyway, I think LDs are the way to go if you're having nightmares. If you learn how to become aware that you're dreaming, you can learn how to contol them as well. Or even just wake up from them. I used to have tornado nightmares alot. But them I learned that by dreaming of them so frequently, I could count on them as a dream sign. That was a key for my gaining lucidity. Now I rather enjoy my tornado dreams and find them quite fascinating.
So question: are your nightmares recurring themes?
Ohhhhhhh, BLAST me baby........Quote:
