first of all this was my 4th lucid dream
i woke up and found a few spiders on the wall i ran out of my room(im scared of spiders) and then i relised that there shouldnt be that much spiders at the same time i did the rc of breathing through my nose and then became lucid, then i wanted to get rid of the spiders and as i was thinking how to do it the dream ended
did i do something wrong?:shock:
Well I would ask how many hours into sleep you had directly prior to having the dream? I wouldn't say you did anything wrong. Sometimes that just happens. Have hope that this is a sign that you'll have even more LD in the near future.
I've found LD stability increases with more and more experience/recall. Also the length of the REM period you're in and depth of the sleep may have something to do with it.
actually i had had 6 hours prior to that, i woke up at 5am in the morning ( there was some noises outside my room, and found out later it was a possum in the room anyway) and then when trying to go back to sleep and then i just had a lucid dream, infact it was starting in the dream in the exact spot where i was sleeping :SQuote:

yeah i hope too i will have more lucid's as its been a month since i found about LD's
i only had 1 lucid dream and i realize i was dreaming because we're supposed to hit the car ahead of us but im waiting and waiting and waiting and we cant..then i realize its not possible. then i become lucid then i woke up.

lol, at least my first lucid dream was the longest weirdly but i didnt try to much, its gonna take a while probably for you to get the 2nd lucid dream, it took me over 20 days for the next one :oops:Quote:

Lds, especially the first couple, usually end too quickly. They seem to get better with time, being more vivid with more control, and I don't even get excited anymore so they don't end right away. Right after you wake up from one just lay there and don't move and see if you can re-enter. Doesn't always work but it will alot if it wasn't because of the end of a REM period.
