DreamerRoss here, I'm completely newborn to this forum and I'm looking forward to be spending some time with you.
I discovered this forum about three days ago and I was happy with just reading all the great things around here. The actual reason I registered was because I'm in need of some confirmation. I've had quite many lucid dreams through DILD, but I've never actually paid much attention to it.
I've been trying to do a WILD since I got to know it existed (when I read about it on the site and here). The first time I tried to do it I forgot I was trying, so I just fell asleep. Although I did manage to remember a dream I had that night by remembering the last event of the dream and then playing it backwards in my head. Last night I tried again and I believe I was close, but I need confirmation.
I was lying down on my back doing the 61 point relaxation technique. I was just getting onto relaxing my left arm when I felt that the back of my head and my ears started to go numb and after a while my ears started blocking up. My whole body was really relaxed anyway. A few seconds after that it felt like my face was "vibrating". As the vibration spread across my face and down my shoulders I couldn't feel my face anymore and when the vibration passed my eyes it felt like my vision got broader. It didn't take long until I got too excited and then it went away, but as soon as I imagined there was an object in front of me it started again. I did the same thing over and over and after a while it didn't happen again, so I tried to lie on my side instead but then I fell asleep. I do remember a dream I had last night too, but only vaguely.
Do you think I was on the right track?
