am i dreaming?
Greetings to all,
Obviously I am a newbie on this site. Since childhood I have experienced very vivid dreams. I do recall many dreams upon waking, most of the time I can recall 2 or 3 dreams per night. If I happen to awaken during a dream, I can usally just close my eyes and resume dreaming.
I would guess I have awareness that I am dreaming in 90% of my dreams. I also believe I have experienced OBE a few times.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to everyone.
I will share more in the future but it is my bedtime now. (I work rotating 12 hour shifts, and my best dreams seem to be after working nights.)
Sweet Dreams...

Re: am i dreaming?
First off, Welcome to DV NightTripper!!!!!!!!!!!!
Second, WOWEEEE, you're an elite already it sounds like!!! I'm jealous!! ;) I just have 1 question: you say you're lucid for 90% orf your dreams. Are you also able to control dreams when you're aware you're dreaming? Just curious because that would SO rock. I just love it when we get super talent here. You'll definitely have to share your experiences here, I know I'd love to read all about them!
Well just wanted to welcome you and let you know you can email or PM me if you ever have any forum questions...since I doubt you'll have many LD questions! ;)
So just make yourself at home here, and Sweet Dreams!
xoxo,

Sounds like you already have things pretty much right... ask any questions if there's something we might (just maybe) be able to help with...

Welcome NightTripper!!!! :muffin:
Sounds like you are already there, and if not you only need a little nudge. I would suggest you find which method fits best with your abilities, and exploting it to the max. We also have a list of some pretty cool things you may like to try while lucid...

Hi again everyone,
I am only begining to learn about controlling my dreams. (advice from a psychiatrist friend, which is what prompted me to search the net for more info)
I thought everyone had full awareness of their dreams, but I know different now.
In the past few days/nights, I have tried a few things I read about here and on other sites. I have used the command "Become more intense now", and it was quite successful. It produced the most colorful dream I can remember. I also know that one of my most common dream signs is the light switch(s) that never work. I can never see a reflection in a mirror, and I have never seen my dream "body", it is as if "I" am just a bodyless spirit. (Maybe that's why I can't physically "turn on" a light switch.)
I must go now, I will start a new thread later this evening and share more about some recent dreams.
