A DILD is a spontanious lucid dream where you realise that you are dreaming without really planning on it.
A MILD is when you repeat to yourselves that you will lucid dream and end up, while in a dream, realise that you are infact dreaming.

No, a DILD is a Dream Initiated Lucid Dream -- a category of lucid dreams. The other being a WILD, a Wake Initiated Lucid Dream.
MILD is a lucid dream induction technique to achieve a DILD later in the night by focusing intent when falling asleep on realising the dream state.
