New Alarming Dreams

Recently I have been having a lot of dreams, I suppose the very vivid dreams started about 2 years ago, I have always been a big dreamer and can usually remember the next day, atleast part of it. Well within the past year all my dreams are becoming lucid. In ALL my dreams I know that im dreaming, In half of them I can control what im dreaming yet even though I know I am dreaming It still feels real to the point that when I wake up…even after I sit up in my bed I am still a little blurry on what events actually took place. I return to the same places a lot in my dreams and although I remember them, it is to hard to explain. I remember them but when I try to explain it it gets all jumbled up. I would like to record them even more sufficiently and wondered if anyone had any advice, or why I get these dreams, when my boyfriend who is meditiating and practicing at dreaming still has trouble..yet it comes so naturally for me. Many times in my dreams I will be at a castle with hidden rooms and passageways and I am usually running from a male lover with a female lover. Also I have had probably 25-30 dreams where I am in a public place and someone just starts openly shooting in front of me and when I turn around to run the gunman immediately spots me and chases me, but when he finally catches me he has run out of bullets. Pretty much everytime I dream there is a gun, sometimes I get shot, sometimes I survive and sometimes I kill myself. These dreams I know are dreams as soon as I see or hear a gun. I don’t understand them. Or the other day I had a dream that I was in san fransisco on a trip with a friend and she was giving me directions ending with “make a left at howard st” the next morning I am at my moms house and she is giving directoins to my sister to go pick up my other sister and the last part of the directions saying “make a left on howard st.” that is what prompted me to find this sight. Any ideas?
