? diffrence
okay , i was curious
with my normal dreams it just seem like a movie and I'm the director to it,
since ive never had one before, when in a lucid dream instead watching my 'dream movie' do i get to actually take part in it ,
etc , just like real life cept i can basically do whatever
my brother was also wondering,
i just wanted a few answers from other LD's
thanks

It can go both ways. You could realize that you're dreaming but still be powerless to do anything. I think all of my lucid dreams have been in first person perspective, though.
-
hmm,
so is lucid really diffrent from ''normal dreaming?''
i always thought it to be as when you feel a 'shift'
you wake up and your now in your' dream
-
Dnow how it is with others, but my *few* lucid dreams have always been as realistic as real life. I see from my perspective and everything seems normal (while dreaming that is, not afterwards. =P ) Except I realise I am dreaming, and this can cause me to take control of the dream and do whatever I want with it. (For me I have only gotten in minor control, but I know others can control their dreams completely)

oh
so preety much real
this is really helping thanks
i just got a few bits and pieces i'm curious about
-
Yeah normally it is very real - the transition from ordinary dream to lucid dream is almost like opening your eyes and everything becomes so clear and real - its like you described, you might be following a script in a dream (like a movie) but then when you realise it is just a dream you take over and do what ever it is you want to do :D

cheers Adam
this make me want to try and succeed
:P my first LD will prob last 10sec max
ill prob flip out in joy
well thanks anyway

I wouldn't worry about that.
LDs are like sex, the first time might be quick, but it's the only time you will remember forever!
And they get better with practice, so keep going! If you need help or advice there are plenty of experienced people here to help :)
Adam.
