First DILD!
Although my first DILD was a short one, it has given me hope. Before this experience I had been trying for a few weeks, but to no avail. It was dreaming that it was Christmas morning, and I was opening my presents. I was thinking about how fast Christmas had come, and then realized that it was not December, but it was actually February. I plugged my nose and I was still able to breath. So I became very excited and almost lost lucidity, but I calmed myself down. I was just starting to look around when my cats began to play on my bed, making alot of noise, and I woke up.
I'm not upset that they woke me up, because the previous few nights I was so tired that I just gave up on WILDing and went to sleep, and now I have a renewed determination, and I plan of having many more lucids dreams.
Also I want to express my thanks to everyone who has given me advice, and to those who have answered my questions. There is no doubt in my mind that without everyone's help I never would have been able to experience the wonderful felling that is accompanied by a lucid dream. Thanks!

Congratulations on your DILD!
Now that you KNOW that lucids are possible.. may your next one come "sooner" rather than later! :D

Many here know how inspiring your first LD can be, congratulations and rock on.

Rockin'! I either had my first LD today, or had a dream about my first LD... -___- how confusing. Unfortunately, I only could recall the dream i had after that, which by my clock must have been 80 minutes later.
The excitement, however, is AWESOME! Keep up the work!
