      Sex Hound

Well after taking a break from trying to lucid dream I decided to try again.
Failed last night but I was semi-lucid (told myself to wake up at the end because it started to get creepy), anyway to the point.

Why is my semi-lucid self....a sex hound? Its like every female I look at I want to have sex with ._.
While I was semi-lucid I did have the ability to tempt my dream self to not partake in what every female DC was offering me in subtle ways.. until I lost control over whatever I had control over and did partake with a DC >.>
Thats when I told myself Im waking up, checked myself over for messes then took a shower...

Why is my dream self have these cravings and how come there over whelming at times >.>
Kind of annoying when it feels like I have two people that are controlling me in a dream (me and my dream-self, thats how it felt)

Any insight on workings of dream-selves would be nice so I could understand myself better in these strange lands... ><

      Females get that problem too.

Find something else you'd absolutely love to do in a lucid dream and hopefully you'll remember to give it a shot instead of going for the sex.

You should get to a point eventually when the dream sex starts seeming boring compared to the other out of this world stuff you could be doing.

      this is a problem?
In dreams of unspeakable joy—of restored friendships; of revived embraces; of love which said it had never died; of faces that had vanished long ago, yet said with smiling lips that they knew nothing of the grave; of pardons implored, and granted with such bursting floods of love, that I was almost glad I had sinned—thus I passed through this wondrous twilight. —George MacDonald

Happens to me 80%-90% of the time I have LDs. I really have to train myself not to; there's so much more interesting things out there.

Everyone does it, nothing to worry about; but if you don't want to it's sometimes hard just to.....not. Probably because it's one of the first things that comes to mind if I find my dream fading (and I'm not too ashamed to admit it).

It's a problem if it distracts you from the gazillions of other kick ass things you could be doing in a lucid dream.
Hell, you can get laid in real life. You can't sprout wings and fly into the sun and have an orgasmic experience there 1000 times better than sex can offer.

Well its nice right now, but it is a problem when I was trying to do everything else but sex with what little control I had in my semi-lucid dream

Ok thanks for the information from everyone else, helps that others have the same problem to I guess.

I have that problem too. Although I'm yet to get bored of it. I'll think to myself I should do something more productive but I just can't help myself.

My theory on why it's so hard to stop yourself from immediately going to that place is that in a dream your ability to rationalize is partly impaired, except for those rare lucids where everything is super clear (rare for me anyway). Therefor your more inclined to be guided by your instincts rather than reason, and the most dominant instinct when you know you can do anything is always going to be sex

Well, I suppose with a dream, you could get ueberlaid or something. Have weirdo fantasy sex. I don't know.

That and, if you really can't kill the impulse, have sex, and then go on to do whatever you want to do. Or you could have sex while doing whatever you want to do. It's a dream. "I have this urge to have sex, but I want to fly... ugh..." Why not have sex... and fly? Maybe even both at the same time.

You're a guy. We're wired to want sex.
Prepare to enter a world bound only by your imagination.

Stay away from the girls! Keep it in your pants and your dreams will be much better.

Haha, you read my mind. I did that last night. Sex and Fly... at the same time.
I wasn't lucid though, was just a lucky fluke.

The most important thing to know is, your "dream self" is not you. What this means is that if you find you have no control over someone in a dream, they are not you. It is a portrayal of emotions, an anti-you, however you want to think of it. Like I said, the most important thing is, it isn't you, it is a dream character that looks like you. Ask yourself, "Would I do this normally even in a dream?" If the answer is no, then it isn't you, if yes then maybe it was you.

What I am saying is, everything in your mind is you, but when it comes to dreaming, no control is present. Your imagination is free to wander, it will mix in all kinds of silly ways without you being able to control it. It doesn't know better, lets think of it like a small child, it doesn't know having sex with every female is 'wrong'. Some say these events signify certain things, 'dreamsigns'. I personally don't know, but I do know that nothing in dreams should be taken literally or seriously. Thats the truth, otherwise you will let normal dreams rip you apart.

So then, you are not there unless you are in control! Otherwise it isn't you!

i had your "problem" *cough* awhile ago and its really easily to fix, like all guys we are wired to have sex and when i have sex in a dream i normally wake up due to the excitment. so.... in the start of the LD i like to fly around and find things to do and when i feel like the dream will soon end i look down, find a chick, screw her and then the dream ends.

that way you can have both.

Stay away from the girls! Keep it in your pants and your dreams will be much better.
      .....its very hard.
