      1st Lucid and magic food

Well I THIIINK I had my first LD last night. I had no control AT ALL I was just standing in this store and I looked down at this light blue watch on my wrist ( i never wear a watch...?) and noticed it skipped seconds and screwed up. I told my friends about it (they were there) saying "I'm DREAMING! This is a dream!" They kept refusing that it wasn't. I woke up and in a different dream I recalled telling the same people that I had a lucid dream. lol weird. So I usually only remember one or two dreams but last night I remembered 6!!!!!!!!! I didn't even know I had that many!!! And the reason I did?

      2 BANANAS RIGHT BEFORE BED

I've done it before too and its worked SPLENDIDLY!! If anybody can tell me why bananas make dreams so clear and vivid or make you remember stuff so well PLEASE SHARE. I'm also interested if you have any other suggestions for food that are good for vivid/lucid dreams.

      PEACE

      Congrats!

The reason Banana's work so well is that they contain both B6 and Tryptophan, two ingredients essential to the development of Seratonin, which is a huge part of creating our dreams. B6 metabolizes Tryptophan into Seratonin, which assists in creating vivid scenes and imagery in our dreams.

Don't THIIINK you had a lucid dream, you DIIID have a lucid dream.

Dunno about the food. I do know that if I take advantage of taco bell at 2:00am, and go to sleep, I'm more than likely to dream vividly about being on the can.

Bananas also contain a nice bit of Melatonin, so they should definatly help you sleep better. Melatonin being one of the chemicals that help control sleep patterns etc.

I've just had two lectures on circadian and biological rhythms recently, so I immediatly thought of this place! Its all rather interesting, and rather complicated too

Dont trust wikipedia all the time, its not perfect, and its unlikley to list all the chemicals in each individual food.

Just try googling "Tryptophan in bannanas" you'll be able to find information from there.

Although as its an Amino Acid, its likley to be in many foods, in different amounts
