My First Nice Lucid Dream

HELLO EVERYONE :)

Im Nathan , and i just wanted to post this , my first GOOD lucid dream.....

ok , so , ive had plenty of lucid dreams when i was a lot younger , but they were always bad , and i didnt know what a lucid dream was untill a few weeks ago. in my dreams , i was always being chased by something , but i was aware that i was dreaming , only i had no idea that you could learn to control them.. as i got older , i stopped having so many , then , my friend told me all about lucid dreams , and i was amazed that i had so many but i thought it was normal , i thought everyone had them.

so i woke up this morning , after a pretty dulll dream about running around my school , late for my lessongs or something , and then i woke up... but i turned over in my bed , and just thought how cool it would be , to actually go BACK into my dream , and as i fell asleep , almost instantly , i found myself staring at my teacher again.

at this point , i was unaware that i was dreaming and the lunc bell went , so i started walking home for my lunch , my fried was with me .There i sPLENTY of detail , but i dont want to bore you , i'll just get to the point:P.. so as i was walking home , i decided to play a lil prank on my mate , i ran off a bit ,hiding , then i found myself RUNNING really really fast , then i was on a skateboarding , skating REALLY fast then i stopped , and i looked around , i was MILES and MILES away from my house, and i got really scared , so i put down my board , moaning and groaning but i had a slieght doubt.. that something wasnt right , why did i turn up here???? WHY? then it happened , my brother , that should have been at school , shouted my name.. before looking around , i knew something was wrong , just a real doubt , ive heard about lucid dreaming signs and stuff and through out , i was thinking "i wish i was flipping dreaming so i dont have to walk back from here"..

so i pulled my finger , and i was AMAZED, my finger just strechted really far out then blobbed back into place

so , i showed my brother , i jumped into the air BELIEVING that i could fly , and i did! i juust floated into the sky then slowly hovered down , it was SOOO much fun , the whole time , i wasa thinking i cant wait to tell my mum and my mate about this , so yeah it goes into much more detail , but i really dont want to bore you guys i just wanted to BASICLY say , i had my first PLEASANT lucid dream:)

this website was a great help , as i read a lot into this site and got a basic understanding of lucid dreaming

Wow, congratulations! Soudns like an awesome LD - was this the first one where you tried to fly? If if was, you're really lucky. It often doesn't work on the first try. ;) Welcome to the forums!

yeah thanks a lot:) , it was my first dream where i tried to fly , i just really really focused on it and jumped lol

Welcome to the forum and congrats!

Yup, many people have lucids when they are younger. It's a way to escape from nightmares.

That sounds like an awesome lucid too, good control!

Haha nice work. Pretty cool the way you wished it was a dream before you actually realised it was. Sounds cool and welcome to the forum ;)
