ride-or-die, DC stands for "Dream Character".

Are you new to lucid dreaming or have you had LDs before?
Good luck, and I hope you enjoy this place! :)
I've only had three LDs, all of em DILD. The first one I flew, the second I don't remember too much now, and the last one I had a couple weeks ago, it was a lucid sex dream. Very cool. I was in complete control of it. But I woke up afterwards. They've all been like three years apart. But I don't to wait that long till the next time. So I'm looking into it a bit more, and hopefully I'll able to make it happen through practice. I've been remembering my dreams the last few nights, so I guess thats a start.
Thanks for the info. It's cool that there is a community of peeps who know whats up.
Remembering your dreams is the first and critical step to lucid dreaming. After all, you want to remember your lucid dreams, right?
Now that you're actively trying to attain lucidity, you'll get them much more frequently. :)
I got that book Exploring your Lucid Dreams or something like that. Its good. It's basically a manual on how to do it.
I was able to Lucid Dream again the other night. It might have been a WILD. I had just woken up and fell back asleep. I was barely lucid. I wasn't able to control it. I tried that spinning technique, but I don't think I was doing it right. I felt like my bed and my pillow were getting in the way. I did get to hear some pretty cool music though and then I heard what I thought was external noise, and I had a false awakening, got up and yelled at my roommate for waking me up in the middle of a lucid dream, only to wake up a few minutes later, to find out my roommates were all sound asleep.
I'm definitly starting a journal
I need to get that book - it's practically the owner's manual of lucid dreaming and I still haven't read it.
Congratulations on your lucid dream, and don't worry about the dream spinning not working as you hoped. Dream spinning causing false awakenings is fairly common.
Good to see you're starting a journal - I've found that those are the most helpful tool for both dream recall and lucid dreaming. :)
