well im always here to help! im a newbie too, but I will do my best. a good way to be able to remember your dreams and start realizing them is doing Reality Checks, which is like throughout the day just stop and double check you are awake, like watch clocks, look at text, check some devices (like lightswitches or ur phone) and if they work and nothing abnormal happens ur awake. it should start to translate into your dreams, and that should also help you remember your dreams. it helps me. also, when ur falling asleep, think to yourself like "im going to remember my dream when I wake up" and it should subconsciouly stick in ur mind and help u remember. it works for me, and trying wont hurt!!!
good luck! if you need any help you can send me a PM!

:welcome: to Dreamviews both of you!
Boondocks, you seem to be off to a good start. A dream journal can help improve your recall, in turn giving you more of a chance of getting an LD. Also, if you get into the lucid state, don't get overexcited, or your conscious will literally pull you out of your dream. This is the fate of many beginner's LDs. Just try to stay relaxed, while doing messed up stuff, all the while keep reminding yourself "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming". You can be suprised how fast you can forget this stuff.
Any questions can be sent via PMs to me or anyone else with a green name. :D

:welcome: to the forum Boondocks!
Tips: Be sure to read the main site and the tutorials, both of which provide helpful information on getting started with lucid dreaming. You can also keep a dream journal here. And you may want to read the quick start guide for information about the forum itself.
If you have questions feel free to PM me, see ya around. :D
