WILDing Problems
Hi, I've been trying to WILD for the past few nights, and I feel like I'm getting pretty far, but there's one thing that just won't let me finish. At some point, I have urges to move that just don't go away, and I have to use all of my will power just to last 1 more minute. Last night I went 5 minutes with that going on and it didn't go away, so I decided to give up for the night.
Is there anything I can do about this?!
Thanks,
Inkheart

What you're experiencing is a test the body uses to test if you are awake. The only thing you can do is simply resist these urges. It's hard, but that's your only choice.

Do you mean you have an irritating itch?
Or just an insane need to move yourself
If its just an itch, scratch away but don't pay to much attention to it.

It's an urge to move, if it really is my body testing me tgan I'll use all my will power to resist. I was just concerned that it might not be, and it might not go away.
Thanks,
Inkheart:)

I've laid still, very still. I always feel the itching and the urge to move but I can easily resist the urge and just ignore the itching.
But I still can't WILD or HIT i.e. Either I keep on being awake or I fall asleep, it seems there is no middle ground... :(

I'll be able to resist as long as I know it's from WILDing, but if it's not, it'll drive me BANANAS!

If you really have the urge to move than move
after that start WILDING again.

yeah you need to be comfortable to WILD. If you have an urge THAT strong to move, find a more comfortable position. Oh sure, it sets you back a little when you move, but you dont have to start the WILD all over again. And If you are just trying to resist not moving, then i can promise you that you wont make it.
WILDing is just falling asleep conscious. Have you ever tossed and turned when falling asleep normally? I know i have. Same with swallowing and itching. Just dont think about it.

Try this. If you're going to WILD on your back (easiest for most people), then start out lying on your side. Do your WILD technique on your side until you get uncomfortable, then roll over onto your back and finish it. Or mix it up, or reverse it.
I normally start on my back, get to the point of false sensations or vibrations, then switch to my side to finish things off. My breathing just doesn't feel right when I'm on my back, especially when my heartrate bumps up at the last minute, and I feel a weight on my chest.
I guess the main thing is, do what is comfortable to you. An important factor to WILDing that a lot of people forget is that you are actually trying to fall asleep. You have to fall asleep to WILD. You just have to keep your mind working while you do it.
Its better to get close and then fall asleep. You still have a great chance for your WILD to turn into a MILD. If you get close then wake up, you will most likely just get frustrated and end up staying awake all night. Thats not very encouraging.

Before, I thought that if you moved or anything like that while WILDing, you would completely fail the WILD.
Thanks a lot FreeOne and Robot_Butler, that's exactly what I needed to know :D Now I'll be able to WILD with much more comfort!!!! YAY!

your welcome :)
Keep in mind that you can move, but dont start tossing and turning every 2 min. Just use it when you feel you need to move/swallow/itch.

you don't have to lay on the back if you don't want to.
lie down just as you would do if you should go to sleep for real, but keep the mind awake.
Then if you feel unconfertable you just keep in mind that you're body is not unconfertable, it's just your body trys to make your mind fall asleep before the body.
