My sister has a question...

She is 13, but really wants to join dreamviews... is it ok if she changes her age to 15? is it that big of a deal?

If you got the common sense to know that the age restriction is there for a reason, and think that you are above 15 (or whatever the actual limit of the forum is), like mentally, not physically, then just click 5 instead of 3. I've done that several times on soooo many places.

Note: Watch out with doing it though! Do an extra-consider with all posts/threads when you're underaged on forums! When I Look back at some of the threads I made on one of the first forums I joined... (When I was 11-12)

The age limit is just a stupidity test to keep the dumb middle school kids away. If a person makes it a huge point that they aren't old enough to be on the forum then they don't have the intelligence needed to be on it. If they secretly come and are productive to the community then no one really cares.

Actually...when a website bans yoiur IP its not permament, it just lasts a really long time at the worst...but by no means permament. It will wear of in due time. If you got your ip banned by a website a few months ago see if the ban is still in effect.

If you're under the forum's age limit, the least you can do is take the time and consideration to use (mostly) proper grammar and punctuation.

It makes things a lot nicer here.

I'm sure part of the reason for the age limit is trying to reduce "Waz this liek teh Lucid Drem!!?!1!1!!z" posts.

I doubt the Bureau actually patrols the internet, which means that a member of this site disclosed the presence of an illegal user. In any case, your methods are of no concern to us, since this website's servers and owner are located in Canada, you have absolutely no jurisdiction in the matter. I recommend that you forward your concerns to the owner of Dreamviews.com or the Information Crime Unit of the RCMP so that the appropriate authorities can execute the necessary legal procedures. Sorry dreamer111, but the age limit is 15, at minimum. Mainly the reasons are because we have above PG-13 content around here, and there is a certain standard of maturity that we are trying to uphold. It may seem a little unfair, and for that we can only apologize, but those are the rules. Hopefully you'll continue to browse around, and will decide to join up when both you and your sister reach the minimum age.
