Hello!
I have just joined, and I have realized that I have lucid dreamed once, and have tried many times. So, I now I actually want to try to lucid dream on purpose, not spontaneously. So...here is my question:
Whenever I try to lie still for a certain amount of time, I immediately become aware of my breathing, like right now, when I am typing:?. Does breathing on will affect your chances for lucid dreaming on will? Or should I try conditioning? If I should, please provide a link!
Thanks!

Oh, sorry. It happens that the first technique I learned about lucid was the technique in which you lie still for 25 minutes until your body thinks your mind is asleep. Here.
I know see that there are much more techniques, such as finger induced and WILD. Sorry for the disruption...:(

Hey Celtrum, welcome to Dreamviews!
You're referring to a techinque known as WILD. If you keep breathing, you should end up having sleep paralysis. After this, you end up in a lucid dream. You've already found a tutorial, but there are a lot of them. Here's a few others:
http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=40684
http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=9806
http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=1886
You can find the other techniques in the tutorials forum: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25
No matter which technique you choose, you should always be keeping a dream journal. This just means writing down your dreams when you wake up. You should also be reality checking often.
Should you have any other questions, feel free to ask me or any of the other dream guides for assistance. :)
