Another Newbie but very motivated

I luckily stumbled upon this site today while researching Lucid Dreaming all day today after hearing about it from a friend yesterday. Right now I cant even remember dreams that often, maybe a few a week at best. I hear dream journals can be very helpful and therefore i will have this ready for the next time I sleep.

The idea of being able to control your dreams fascinates me. My search for something like this started in a conversation with my girlfriend. We were looking for a way to be together in our dreams as we only see each other on the weekends. I really hope I can work up to the levels of some of the guys on this site. I really wish I was as experienced in LD as them.

Theres alot of acronyms like DC and all these techniques and they really confused me. Care to help a guy out? Also if anybody wants to give me any hints on starting my journey into training feel free to message me or IM me on MSN or AIM. (briblilz) Thanks! :D
