Boo!
I've been here for a little while now but I haven't introduced myself on here yet. I'd like to get to know a few people so I guess I should shed some light on who I am first.
My name is Tara. First of all, it's pronounced like "terra", not tar-uh. :)
I'm very liberal and open-minded. I'm also an artist. I focus on wildlife and/or abstract drawing, painting, and photography. One reason I'm keen on having vivid and lucid dreams is to enhance my creativity. Some of the strange and vivid dreams I have lead to inspirational feelings and the lucidity puts me in a great mood, also making me feel artistically inspired.
I'm only sixteen years old, but have been complimented on my mental maturity. I really don't feel sixteen. You know what I do feel like? HAVING DREAMS. I'm basically desperate to have lucid dreams.
Hmm, that's about it I guess. Oh, I live in Canada, btw.
WELL. Yep. The end!
Send me a PM if you want to talk and feel free to ask questions.

Your signature said that you've had three, more will come if you practice at it, I promise. After the first few then it gets easier, try a different technique, maybe WILD (don't get discouraged if you fail, it's hard to get used to, but SP is a fun ride anyhow.)
-
Very true. Thanks for the encouragement. I've had four if you count the one I had which only lasted about five seconds. :P
I've tried WILDing a few times. The very first time I began to feel waves of tingling sensations all over my body. I felt numb and heavy. I was going pretty good but then my mom walked in and turned on the light and screwed up everything.
Ever since then, I haven't been able to get where I was that first time. I lay there for hours (sometimes 2 or more) and get sort of numb and just really tired - but no real signs of SP. Even if I do the WBTB with the WILD.

Canada FTW!
:welcome: Anonymoose and Good Luck
This is definitely one of the better intros I've read during my short time here.
Sorry to hear about your mental maturity, I found it entirely overrated.
My psych teacher said I had the soul of a 70 year old cynic, but that may have been due to a healthy dose of depression and paranoia

Haha. Thanks for the welcome.
I believe that saying things are overrated is overrated. :) Heheh.

Howcome its said "Terra"? Is that an official thing or a personal thing?
I've never seen that before.
-
It's just what my parents chose. A personal thing I suppose. The usual spelling of the name is Tara but they wanted it to be pronounced like "terra". My mom never thought that maybe people might mispronounce it, so now I have to constantly correct people. :P
It is more common for it to be pronounced the way it looks, but I've met a few other Tara-terra's too.

Lucid dreams and creativity-- a good pair!
