Usually, when I'm attempting a WILD, I skip SP, and go directly into the dream.
But when people talk about "hearing noises", I'm assuming that is only associated with SP, right? RIGHT? :shock:

If you don't want to go through that stage, you don't have to. As long as you end up in a lucid dream, that's all you need. :)

Yeah, usually. I was just wondering if the noises people hear is just associated with SP. Because then I have less to worry about while attempting WILD. :DQuote:

The voices aren't directly connected to SP. I hear voices all the time when falling asleep.
You know what? When WILDing, you go through many hallucinations. These are all natural. What may happen is that, because of these hallucinations, you don't even notice you're into SP. To me, SP seems more like I was out of my body rather than being unable to move it. It's as if, instead of feeling my real body, I felt my dream body.
The hallucinations are not remotely scary, just a bit senseless (but then again, any dream is senseless). So don't worry about it. It's as if the hallucinations were different, shattered dream images. They must happen in order for your mind to pick one and make it a full-blown dream.
