Hey everyone... *waves* :)

Hey everyone, I just wanted to formally (or informally) introduce myself to the forum. My name is Ethan, and my obsessions include school (yes, I do love school, lol), talking online, Evanescence, Harry Potter, The X-Files, poetry, reading, writing, my Ipod, English extension and, of course, lucid dreaming. Anyway, now that's all out of the way, I just like to say that I'm very happy that I joined today. I'm not new to the idea of lucid dreaming though and I've had several in the past years, but I've never joined dream views (apart from reading articles on the main website).

I was talking with someone about the X-Files the other day and we were trying to pin down any episodes that had to do with lucid dreaming. I distinctly remember the one about the odd house where they got lost inside and had all sorts of strange experiences. We argued about whether that was a dream, a shared dream or some sort of freaky alternate dimention thing.
I concluded that dreaming is sort of an alternate dimention experience anyway so I WIN!

Don't worry, I read articles at the start too before I joined. :P

A good idea for starters would be to take a look at the tutorials section to, as there's quite a few methods you will discover on lucidity. The method is here - Click

And I'll just give a few links to the popular methods:

• HILD - Hypnosis Induced Lucid Dream
• MILD - Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams
• VILD - Visually Incubated Lucid Dream
• WBTB - Wake Back to Bed
• WILD - Wake-Initiated Lucid Dream

I've tried to choose out the small guides for you, as that's probably the best way to start. :)
