      I think I had an LD, but how do I really know?

      After finding this site yesterday I was fascinated by Lucid Dreams. I'd heard of the concept before, but never knew about it in such detail. Last night as I slept I had a very different series of dreams than I usually do, I normally never have super powers and all that stuff .

      But my question is this, how do I really tell if that WAS infact an LD? Could it just have been a dream about all the fantastic things that lucid dreaming lets you experience?

      Hello, and welcome to DV!

      Did you know that you were dreaming when you were in the dream? If you were, it was a lucid dream. It is possible to dream of having super powers and do impossible things, and not be having a lucid dream, because you think it's real. Also, it's possible to have a lucid dream, and finding yourself unable to manipulate the dream, and do impossible dreams.
