Awake from dreams
Hey, i'm very new to this site and have a couple of questions.
I have read the homepage so i think i know what to do:)
But... I have a problem when i shall wake up into a REM. I have tryed to use an alarm clock. But it is no guarantee that i sleep in the right time.
Like if going to bed 22.00 and think i will sleep in ten minutes. So i set the alarm to 23.30 Then i think i'm in the he second REM. But as i as i said:
NO GUARANTEE when i fall asleep.
Can someone slove or help me with my problem ?

Hi groffse, Welcome to Dream Views!
I'm not sure I completely understand your question. Are you asking about doing a Wake back to bed? If that's so, you probably just want to wake up a few hours after you fall asleep. Some people sleep about four or five hours before doing it. For me two hours is usually good enough. That should help you to at least get some vivid recall, if not Lucidity right away.
Be sure to check out the tutorial section of the forum. You may find what your looking for there. If not, feel free to ask any other questions you may have.:)
Good luck!

I'm sorry if you misunderstood. But what I am trying to say. Is that i can't sleep on commando. So it is hard to me appraise what i shall set my alarm too. So i hoped there was a technique to wake up during a REM.

Ah, I see what your saying now. I think you want to wake up from REM to recall your dreams.
I have the same problem. It takes me a while to fall asleep sometimes. I'm personally not aware of any technique to make yourself wake up from REM. Especially if your not Lucid already.
I guess I would just set the clock for a few hours ahead. Chances are it will wake you up from a dream. Or maybe drink a lot of water so you have to wake up.

Yea, i'll try to night :)
Btw how long do you think it will take to become Lucid? Like a week or something ?
-
Well that all depends. It's different for everyone. It could take a week or a couple months. Or even a day for some people. It depends a lot on how much motivation you put into it. And some people just are able to get Lucid easier than others.
When I'm in a bad dry spell, it usually takes me about a month of hard work to really get a good Lucid Dream again.

Very well then.
I now got some information, so gotta go.
See you around.
