      Little help please

      Ok so last night i did a WBTB as i fell asleep i can remember looking at the dream i was having and knowing it was a dream that i was looking at but i couldnt become lucid because i wasnt actuallly in the dream i was just kinda watching it....and like Oh cool thats me lol but couldlnt control myself it was like i was Overseeing my dream body in a dream any tips on actually getting in??

      Congrats

      You had a LD. You were in a dream, and you knew you were, so it was a LD.

      Now, about your problem. Was it a first or third person dream? If it was a first person dream, my only advice is to try mirroring yourself till you have control. If it was a third person dream, walk upto the self you can't control and hug them (hugging stuff works great in lucid dreams). If you still can't control it, run away and do something else. Basically, act like you have a body to control.

      Oh, Sounds like you were trying to WILD, and experiencing some Hypnagogic imagery. I'm not the best person to give advice on WILding, because I'm not to great at it myself. But, I think in that situation, it's probably a good idea to stay as calm and relaxed as you can. And just flow with it until you naturally enter the dream more fully, and it becomes more stable. Or maybe try moving your arms are something. I've heard that can help sometimes.

      I'm able to get a lot of HI like that too, but I usually wake up before it can turn into a full blown Lucid.
