Wow...
Wow, I have known about lucid dreaming for half a year now.
I have had two real lucid dreams, but no good dream control. Then again I have never really tried very hard to learn conscious dreaming, so maybe I should start trying harder?
Time to start working on my lucid dreaming, it's almost summer already!
I wonder, does stress affect your ability to remember dreams? I have recently worked on several projects and I haven't remembered dreams at all...
I guess you really can call yourself a newbie when you have known about lucid dreaming for six months. I feel like a newbie.

Yes, stress can kill dream recall. It does for me.

If you post your first or intro thread in the newb zone, you're a newbie to me.
Welcome to Dream Views newbie.
Stress can screw up dream recall. Start and keep a dream journal. Write down scraps of dreams or even emotions you felt upon waking. Bits of recall are better than none at all.

As far as I know stress does have a big influence on your recall. So try to stay as relaxed as possible! :)

Welcome! :)
I think the main reason stress messes up recall, is because it takes your thoughts away from dreaming, and makes you dwell on the problem at hand.
Distractions like that screw up my recall whether it's something good or bad.

Yup. Stress :boggle: does that.
I recall dreams the most on the weekends.
