hi
Hello!
I've been trying to learn to ld for about 10 years now, with little success. Had a minute or so last of lucidity last night (walked through a window - plasticky); time to start trying hard (again), I feel. Joining a forum might keep my mind on it. Hopefully I'll stick around :D

hi
Hello and welcome to dream views forum im sure if you stick around you will be lucid dreaming in weeks or mabie days if you go to the main dreamviews website and read it all its a good place to start.

I hope you do stick around. I love your user name.
You could try starting an online Dream Journal

That could inspire you to keep dreaming on your mind. Plus, once you get a few people commenting on your dreams, the pressure mounts to keep the good stuff coming.
What sorts of methods have you tried in the past? Was last night's lucid just completely spontaneous?

I like the idea of keeping an online dream journal, an adoring audience certainly would put the pressure on to keep it going ;)
Methods I've tried: all of them! The only one that I haven't really worked hard at is wake-back-to-bed, I found it far too hard getting back to sleep. The others, well, they never worked. Since I started training I get infrequent sporadic short LDs but never seemingly as a result of any particular technique.
Current technique: considering all phenomena to be like a dream. I like the philosophical bent to this idea. I've had ATISHA written on the back of my hand to remind me for a week or so now.

I often find that coming to DV before bed helps to get me lucid. :D
