Greetings!
Hello everyone. I've always had a very deep interest in the mind and all subjects relating to it. Dreams, to me, are one of the most fascinating things in this world. Throughout my past I have had some LD's, but the actual periods of lucidity and control were pretty brief. I can recall a vast number of vivid and amazing dreams all the way back to about age 5 (non-lucid).
Dreamviews is not an unfamiliar name to me. I came across the site close to the beginning of the school year and spent hours browsing the forums and making very unsuccessful attempts at the many techniques, particularly WILDing. School didn't allow any time to fool around with my sleep schedule, so I decided to postpone my journey into the world of LD's until now. My 9th grade year will be concluded within a few days. Seeing as summer break is right around the corner, I think this is a perfect opportunity to go full-steam ahead with one of my biggest goals.

:welcome: Starting a dream journal should be your first step to lucidity. They read through a week's worth of drams and find recurring themes and objects, these are dream signs. Do reality checks whenever you are around them.

I wish I could get a few months off to focus on dreaming. I'm jealous.
I'm sure you will have lucids much easier once you can start sleeping longer and integrating WBTB into your sleep schedule. I wonder if it would be helpful to write down your old dreams to give yourself a head start on identifying dream signs?
