Dream Guides and Flying

Hello everyone. I've been visiting this forum for months now. It's been a pleasure reading about the experiences of other dreamers. I thought it's about time I introduced myself.

I guess I am what you would call a "natural". I've been having lucid dreams since I was a small child. I was having them before I even knew what they were. I even had a measure of control over them. I remember telling the evil creatures that were chasing me that they couldn't hurt me because I was dreaming. I would fly or talk to my toys during an LD. When I was eleven years old, I read a library book about lucid dreaming that opened up a lot of possibities for me. I used the tips from the book to have LD's more often. I'm not sure how I even stumbled onto this place but I'm glad I did! I have learned so much from the tutorials and posts. You LDers are so creative! I've tried some of the tasks of the months and some of the other things I have read about on here.

I have never had a WILD or MILD. I'm too lazy. I've never experienced SP. After reading some of the posts on this sight, I got a lot better at looking for dreamsigns.

I would love to meet my Dream Guide. I have looked for him/her many times in my dreams but still no luck. I have tried asking DC's if they were my Dream Guide (he said no) and thinking that my Dream Guide would be on the other side of the door. I've read other posts about Dream Guides. Maybe my subconscious mind thinks I'm not ready.

I also have a problem with flying. Flying was easier when I was a kid. I remember having this problem occasionally back then but it almost always happens now when I fly... I always get caught in telephone wires and power lines. There are always way more lines and wires in my world than in the real word. I try to fly over them but I get caught in them or they keep going higher. I get distracted from whatever I was doing or wherever I was flying to.

I don't really talk to anyone about my dreams. When I was a little girl, I told some of my friends that I could control my dreams but none of them believed me. It's nice to know there are others out there and that there are ways to have even better LD's!

well join the club everyone thinks we are crazy! :banana: youa are so lucky that you are a natural LDer i try so hard and i have had like 5 5second ones and WILD you need to be lazy so that is perfect SP is the weirdest feeling i have ever experienced i haven't found my dream guide yet so best of luck for the both of us!

My first LD came naturally awhile ago, and that is when i became interested in it. You are lucky to be able to do it so easily though and congrats on that!

My search for my dreamguide begins tonight. I have become extremely curious about it and i hope I find him soon!

Welcome to Dream Views. I'm glad you finally introduced yourself.

I've had a few dream guides over the past couple years. I assume that any character that helps me or guides me in a dream is a manefestation of my dream guide. I have found that a lot of your dreams are based on expectation. Try to expect that every character in your dreams will be a dream guide. Try to expect that flying is easy, and it will be. If you assume something to be easy in your dream, it will be.
