Cant fall asleep..
Ever since I wanted to have a lucid dream it took awhile for me to fall asleep, but ever since my lucid It takes forever to fall asleep, like I would go sleep 1am or 2am since I usually go sleep at that time and it will takes hours to fall asleep and when I do, I don't even remember any of my dreams. (due to lack of sleep i dont think I'm even getting dreams) I would fall asleep around 7am and I would wake up early like at 11am because of my family being so loud.
I really want to fall asleep at the time I go to sleep, when I do go to sleep I keep thinking "I will have a lucid dream", after I've thought about it for 10-20 minutes I stop and try to fall asleep, but now its almost impossible.
Anyone have any advice, this is really frustrating.. :(

You live with your family, you say? Your hours of sleep seem odd. I suggest modifying them in some way. If your summer job permits, why not adapt to your family's sleep schedule? That will not only help with the noise and disturbances, but will help with the blaring natural light that seeps through windows in the early hours.
Of course, if you are a night owl tied to work, earplugs and a sleeping mask always work. A fan might serve as mufling white noise, and to beat the summer heat (it is harder to get to sleep when it is too hot than when it is too cold!).
Hope that helps, and welcome to Dreamviews!

Thanks man, I'll try getting some ear plugs and it is pretty hot, I do tend to sweat, so I'll turn on the AC.

Abra's advice is spot-on. I have a fan in my room I use year-round for white noise, since I have pets that like to party late at night.
Some other things you may try to get some sleep:- don't take any naps during the day
- don't watch TV or play video games (or do anything else too stimulating) for an hour before bedtime
- do something relaxing before bed, like read a book, or take a bath
- try to keep your bedroom cool, like Abra said
Hope this helps you get some shut-eye!

Have you tried meditating as you lay in bed? Lay on your back, breathe calmly, and clear your mind. To help you clear your mind, think of the color blue. That works for me.

Meditation works well for me. Sometimes I'm too lazy though and just take a melatonin or other sleeping pill :P

Sleeping pills don't work for me, so I meditate...or get really drunk.

How unfortunate :(.
I had a similar problem in the summer holidays a while back, I would try modifying your bedtime to about 11pm-12am(pm?) and try and be quite active throughout the day if you're being lazy at the moment,:D
The exercise or general activity will give your body a reason to sleep, if you haven't been up to anything for a while then you'll find it a lot harder to sleep if your laziness is over consecutive days
