Eat some chocolate or drink some coffee an hour before bed but not too much. Tense then relax every piece of muscles from head to toe. Forehead> eyebrow> eye> nose> mouth> neck> shoulders> biceps> triceps> forearms> hands> fingers> chest> back> 6 packs> thigh> small legs> feet> toes. Then either focus between your eye brows or under you belly button. Breath deeply and think of an familiar image. Repeatedly tell your mind to stay awake and tell your body to sleep. If you fell asleep, wake up the next morning and punish yourself with a cold shower. If you succeed on having a lucid dreaming, reward yourself with a candy and a warm shower.
Some people suggest bananas, chocolate, or other foods to increase lucid dreams (LDs). Here is a whole list of the vitamins, etc that are good for LDing. If you read down each listed vitamin, etc. there will be something that looks like:

To paralyze your body and stay awake (for WILD, I'm assuming) you follow the steps in one of the WILD tutorials. They are listed under the "tutorials" section.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
I misunderstood your question for a second. I thought you were asking about eating food in a dream  Thats something I've been trying to do more of ever since last month's Task of the Month:
