      just a question

just something i've thinking about for awhile.
when i had my very first lucid dream, i tried using the suneye method (although i didnt really know what i doing and fell asleep). in my dream i 'woke up' in my bed instantly knowing i was dreaming, did reality checks, yadda yadda. what i would like to know is: what would that be called? would it be CILD (because i tried to use suneye) or DILD (because i knew i was dreaming when i 'woke' in my dream bed) or something else?

      thanks in advance

hard to say but id say DILD because you became aware that you were dreaming IN your dream which is the crucial thing.

I'm not familiar with that technique, so it's a little hard for me to say, too. I just wanted to add that dreaming of waking up is called a false awakening (FA). They can both be lucid and non lucid.

yeah. The Lucid Dream was a DILD but what happend was that you got False Awakening in the dream. That is pretty common.

What is the suneye method? I haven't heard of it before.
