I just discovered that even if you're lucid, you should write about it immediately in your journal. I thought that being lucid, you would remember your dream no prob but I was wrong and now I'm kicking myself for it. :eek:Oh well... Just a heads up, something I wasn't aware of for the fellow noobs.
Oh yes, lucid dreams can be forgotten. That's one of the reason you need decent dream recall when trying to attain lucidity, what's the use of a lucid dream when you can't remember it afterwards?
I've forgotten a lot of lucids. There is nothing worse than the feeling of waking up in the morning, knowing you were lucid, but being unable to recall anything from the dream. Damn this human memory!
For me it's usually hard to remember how they started if they are longer ones...

Really? I generally write 12+hours after I have the dream lol
I find it very helpful (especially if you're too busy in the morning), to write a few brief notes as soon as you wake up. If you run thru the dream a couple times in your head during the day aswell, by the time you get home, you should be able to recall it in quite some detail.Quote:
